BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

• Check if circuit breaker flipped to the "ON" position.
• Systems with (light or indicator) must be "glowing"
• Make sure interlock is not loose or missing?
• Inspect power cord if frayed or damaged.

1. Top off fluid by opening the reservoir, if you hear gurgling noises then your system has air (creating air gaps in the flow system) refill with sterilized or deionized water. 

1. Check if you have enough coolant (DI water, sterile water, Fluorinert, other) 
2. Check for any leaks, if leak is seen (call us for service)
3. Verify water pump operation (if faulty) call us for service (You can tell by checking if the fluid is moving) if not turn-off immediately and call us at 833.286.7669

1. Inspect O-rings and check for any break or cracks.
2. Check connector where laser coolant is filled, it can be worn out or close to breaking down.

         A sign of a ruptured tubing or hose is puddles of water underneath machine. Typically               

         when the pump is running you will not notice the leak. Turn-off device to disable 

          water pump and observe. 

Multiple causes, one of which is that your TEC chip is faulty, leak in the system, or fault in cooling system sensors. Clogged handpiece preventing flow to the the cooling system.

Typically the cause of this is the touch interface board can be faulty or there is a break in the capacitive connection. Other issues can be related to the LVPS (call us for service)

If the laser aiming beam is centered and actual laser is does not fall on the dot then your laser is misaligned. This is called the laser is not in coincidence with the aiming beam.  Call us immediately for  laser alignment service. 833.286.7669

One common cause of this issue is misalignment. Depending on the type of vibration and impact your laser is subjected to it can be as minor as adjusting mirrors or major as in internal optical train has shifted and requires major realignment. Other

For articulating arm based systems it can be either optics going bad, alignment issue or aiming beam module needs to be replaced.

Minimally we advise to get it serviced once a year, for heavily used lasers we recommend twice a year. Just like your car, your laser requires TLC.

Typical issue is the flashlamp. Based on your usage when it reaches 500k shots you will notice a decrease in performance. 

Transmission error codes - check condition of the following before calling:

1. windows (front and back)
2. fiber focus lens (use of magnetic tool to extract and observe haziness, pitting caused by dust)
3. check fiber optic cable condition - blackened tip means light is being blocked (needs replacement)
