SYNERON ERROR CODES

CYNOSURE PICOSURE ERROR CODES

LUMENIS M22 ERROR CODES 1 OF 2

Laser Status
This error codes shows when the machine’s driver circuit boards become faulty.  There are many reasons as to why the circuit boards may get damaged.  When this happens the machine will not go to the treatment ready mode.

Laser Over Current
This error code indicates a problem with the laser diodes inside the DSL or Comet diode handpieces.  This most often results from weakening of the diodes inside the handpiece which happens after prolonged use.  The handpiece in this case would need to be refurbished and the diodes would need to be replaced inside of the handpiece.

Temperature Fault
This error code indicates a problem with the temperature sensor inside the handpiece or the PCB board inside the handpiece that communicates with the temperature sensor.

RF Card Fault
This error indicates a problem with the radiofrequency component inside of the Syneron machine. This may resolve sometimes by restarting the machine.  If the error code persists, you may need to replace the RF Card inside the machine.

Bad Coupler
This error codes appears when the Syneron handpiece does not detect enough coupling gel applied correctly to the treatment area. This error can be resolved by applying a thicker layer of gel and ensuring that the metallic tip of the handpiece is touching the gel.

Leakage Fault
This error code indicates an electrical malfunction. It may be caused by various components inside the machine.  A thorough inspection of the machine is necessary to identify the failing component.

Error 10 (Syneron Elos Plus)
IPL TEC(temp fault) malfunction, ID-10.
(customer’s HP, TEC was OK, replaced lamp, cleaned water flow in the tip)

Error 24 (Syneron Elos Plus)
Applicator low temperature
Internal temperature of applicator is outside of the allowable range.
Sensor may be disconnected or has failed.

Error 32 Capacitor Voltage Error (Syneron Elos Plus)
• Electrical system malfunction.
• The capacitor voltage (V) is expected to be
195/189V (depending on applicator). If the voltage
is less than V – 15% or above V + 10%, the error
occurs

1. Select another applicator.
2. Try to replace the applicator(s).
3. Replace the High Voltage board.
4. Replace the Real Time Controller board.

CYNOSURE PICOSURE ERROR CODES

CYNOSURE PICOSURE ERROR CODES

CYNOSURE PICOSURE ERROR CODES

Cynosure's PicoSure laser system may display various error codes to indicate specific issues. Here are some common fault and error codes:

  • Error Code 14.1 and 14.2: These codes suggest a power supply problem, potentially due to a charge timeout or tolerance fault. It's advisable to have a certified technician test the High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS) to diagnose the issue accurately.
  • Error Code F352: This indicates that the lamp has reached its shot limit and requires replacement. After installing a new lamp, the counter should be reset to clear the error.
  • Error Code E01: This code signifies a water flow fault, which could be due to insufficient coolant levels or a malfunctioning water pump.
  • Error Code E02 and E03: Both codes relate to a closed shutter fault, indicating that the laser's shutter mechanism isn't operating correctly.
  • Error Code E04: This error points to an open fuse, suggesting a blown fuse that needs replacement.
  • Error Code E06 and E07: These codes are associated with an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) module fault or short, indicating issues with the laser's power electronics.
  • Error Code E08: This code denotes a heater fault, which could affect the laser's operating temperature.
  • Error Code E14: This indicates a High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS) fault, suggesting issues with the laser's main power supply.
  • Error Code E13: This error means "No Simmer," indicating that the laser is not maintaining the necessary pre-ionization state for operation.
  • Error Code E23: This code indicates "Low Transmission," suggesting that the laser energy is not being effectively delivered, possibly due to optical misalignment or component degradation.
  • Error Code E26: This error signifies "No Energy," meaning the laser is not emitting the required energy, potentially due to a malfunctioning laser head or power supply issue.
  • Warning Code W51: This warning indicates "No Fiber," suggesting that the laser's fiber optic delivery system is not properly connected or detected.
  • Warning Code W50: This warning points to an open interlock, meaning a safety mechanism is not engaged, preventing laser operation.
